Lincoln Guildhall is a member of the Visit England VAQUAS scheme and has recently received re-accreditation for 2025-26. The assessor commented “The Guildhall is a treasure house to rival many leading museums and historic house visitor attractions and the opportunity to see the amazing objects and priceless charters in a small group setting was a most memorable experience.” The Guildhall has also been a recipient of various Visit England Accolades, including Best Told Story and Welcome awards.

Tours of Lincoln Guildhall are available on the following days and times:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday at 10.30 am and again at 2.00pm.

Booking is not necessary, but we suggest that you call before visiting to ensure the tours are running. There are occasions when the civic building is in use for Mayoral or other events.

Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes before the tour times. Tours start promptly at 10.30am and 2.00pm and admission is not possible after these times.
